1) WHERE IS CASA CENOTE?
Casa Cenote is located in Tankah Bay, between Tulum and Playa del Carmen. Just 15 minutes by car from Tulum Town.
2) HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN DO THE TOUR?
This tour is for couples, families or small groups of 5 people maximum. The cenote is not super big, too many boards would not be easy to move and enjoy the experience.
We don't do tours for 1 person. In case you are traveling alone, please tell us your dates and we'll try to accommodate you on one of the tours programmed on your dates.
3) DO YOU NEED PREVIOUS PADDLE EXPERIENCE TO DO THE TOUR?
No, you don’t need experience. The cenote is the easiest place to learn paddleboarding. The water is calm, flat and there are no currents pulling you off.
The tour starts with a basic paddle boarding lesson for those who have never touched a paddle before.
Beginners and experienced paddlers are welcome to enjoy the cenote and discover all its magic.
4) IS THE PADDLING TOO LONG?
The cenote is not super big so the paddling is not too long.
It is a perfect experience for those beginners who want to learn Stand Up Paddle Boarding and have a great experience outside Tulum beach. And also for those paddle boarders who have never been in a cenote. It is the perfect opportunity to discover the wonders of a cenote above and under the water.

8) HOW CAN I BOOK A TOUR?
Booking a tour is so simple.
- From home: Just fill in the booking form, we’ll email you in less than 24 hours to book your tour. You don’t need to pay a deposit in advance. You don’t need to give Credit Card info. You just need an email confirmation from us.
Why we don’t request an advanced payment to book? Because we depend on weather conditions, changeable and not always predictable. So, we prefer charge our services after they have been rendered. This way, we never have any cancelation problems.

13) HOW CAN I MEET YOU IF I AM IN A HOTEL ON THE MAYAN RIVIERA?
Given that Casa Cenote is before Tulum Town, we can meet directly in the cenote.
- Renting a car for a day (you can have a good deal for a little car just for 1 day)
Casa Cenote is 10 minutes before Tulum Town. You will find a green sign on the highway "CASA CENOTE". There is also a peacock painted on a white wall on the left side of the highway. That is the entrance road to Casa Cenote. You will pass the entrance and turn in the first "RETORNO", to get to the other side of the road and drive back to the entrance. From the entrance of the road to the cenote is a 5 minutes driving. Really easy to get there.
- By taxi
If you take taxi tell the driver to take you to Casa Cenote (Tankah Bay).
- By colectivo (the cheapest option)
What is a colectivo? Colectivos are white mini-vans that stop everywhere along the highway. They are completely safe.
You have to catch it on the high way in front of your hotel (actually on the other side of the road, to catch the colectivo Tulum direction - south). Tell the driver to stop at Casa Cenote and cross the road.
Mauricio (your guide) will be waiting for you at the entrance of the road on a white truck with boards on top (easy to find him).
We would really appreciate if you let us know your transportation before the tour date if possible, to know where to meet you guys.
